I’m a bookkeeper and consultant with over 14 years of experience, who specializes in working with small businesses, service-based entrepreneurs, and real estate investors. I work hands on with business owners to set up, clean up, and manage their books, so they always know how their business is performing.
I founded Aurrera Consulting, to help solo and small business owners gain clarity and confidence in their numbers. I’ve helped a wide variety of clients streamline their bookkeeping systems, implement the right software, get organized and caught up on outdated records, which supports better decision making and growth.

Commonly Asked Questions
Do I need to have my books in good shape before hiring you?
Not at all. We'll assess where things stand during our intro call and put together a plan to get everything caught up before moving to regular monthly bookkeeping.
What software do you work with?
I work with the most popular bookkeeping platforms including QuickBooks Online, Xero, FreshBooks and Wave. I'll work with your existing setup. If you're starting from scratch, I'll help you choose the right tool for your business
How is this different from hiring a local accountant or CPA?
Bookkeepers and accountants do different things. A bookkeeper handles the day-to-day recording and organizing of your financial transactions on an ongoing basis. A CPA typically steps in for tax filings and high-level financial strategy.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on the size of your business, the volume of transactions, and the services you need. There is a base rate of $125 per month
What if I only need help catching up on old books and not ongoing monthly services?
That's completely fine. I offer one-time cleanup projects for clients who just need to get caught up and aren't ready for (or don't need) a monthly arrangement.
