I am a bookkeeper and consultant with over 14 years of experience working with small businesses, service-based entrepreneurs, and real estate investors. I work hands-on with business owners to set up, clean up, and manage their books — so they always know how their business is performing.

I founded Aurrera Bookkeeping because I kept seeing the same problem: small business owners overwhelmed by their finances, behind on their books, and unsure who to trust with the numbers that drive their livelihood. I built this business to fix that.

I have helped a wide variety of clients streamline their bookkeeping systems, implement the right software, and get organized and caught up on outdated records. Whether you need someone to manage your books every month or just want training on how to manage it yourself, I am here to help.

came to be.

Abena founded Aurrera Bookkeeping in 2017 as a boutique bookkeeping firm dedicated to supporting solopreneurs and small business owners like herself. What started as a desire to help peers navigate their finances grew into a specialized firm serving real estate investors and service-based businesses across the United States.

After choosing entrepreneurship over the corporate path from the start, Abena built her practice around the belief that every small business owner — no matter how new or how small — deserves access to expert financial support without the corporate price tag or the corporate attitude.

Today, Aurrera Bookkeeping serves clients entirely virtually, delivering the same high-quality bookkeeping, financial reporting, and specialized real estate accounting that larger firms provide — at a flat, transparent rate designed for small businesses.
